When you use our AI Skin Analysis tool, you upload a photo of your face. This photo is temporarily processed in memory to generate your personalized skin analysis. We do not store, save, or retain your photo on our servers. Once your analysis is complete, the image is immediately discarded.
Cookies & Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. This helps us improve your experience. When you visit our site, you will be asked to consent before any analytics cookies are placed on your device.
- Your choice matters — Analytics cookies are only activated after you give explicit consent
- What we track — Page views, visit duration, and general traffic patterns. No personally identifiable information
- IP anonymization — Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses
- Opt out anytime — Use the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer to change your choice, or clear your browser's site data to reset
Email Collection & Mailing List
To use our AI Skin Analysis tool, we require your email address for verification purposes. Here's what we do with it:
- Email verification — We send a one-time verification code to confirm your email address
- Mailing list — By verifying your email, you consent to receiving occasional exclusive offers and event invitations from GO:UM. We only reach out when it's worth your time
- Usage records — We keep a record of your email address and the date and time of each skin analysis for audit purposes. No photos or analysis results are stored
Your email is stored securely and is never sold to third parties. We do not send frequent marketing emails — only curated communications about special events and offers.
How It Works
Your photo is transmitted securely over HTTPS to Google's Gemini AI, which performs the skin analysis. We use Google's paid API tier, which means:
- Your photo is not used to train Google's AI models
- Data is processed securely and not shared with third parties
- The transmission is encrypted end-to-end via HTTPS
What We Don't Do
- We don't store your photos on our servers
- We don't create facial recognition profiles or biometric data
- We don't share your images for marketing or advertising
- We don't sell any personal data to third parties
Your Rights Under California Law
As a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) grant you specific rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to know — You may request what personal information we collect and how it is used
- Right to delete — You may request deletion of your personal information
